The Catholic Caritas Foundation of Nigeria (CCFN); also known as Caritas Nigeria is the specialised agency of the Catholic Church in Nigeria for coordinating development and Humanitarian interventions. Since its establishment in 2010 by the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN), Caritas Nigeria has reached millions of  beneficiaries  and communities across the length and breadth of Nigeria. Caritas Nigeria is a member of Caritas Internationalis, a global confederation of 166 member nations that shares in the common vision of being the outreach of the Church to those in need.

Our Annual Report

As part of efforts to entrench Catholic values among the staff of Caritas Nigeria, the leadership of the organization in collaboration with the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria (CSN) has incorporated lectures on Catholic Social Teachings into training programs for all its staff going forward.

Cross Section of participants at Yola The initiative kicked off with series of lectures delivered by the Director of Pastoral affairs at the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, Rev Fr Isaac Dugu during a one-week tour of project sites in the Northeast by the Senior Management Team of the agency led by Fr Uchechukwu Obodoechina. Lectures were held in different project locations in the axis including Yola and Mubi.
