Over 400 Internally Displaced persons (IDPs), in Mubi have so far benefited from the livestock management training and best agronomic practices in the ongoing UNHCR-funded 2021 project in the northeastern part of Nigeria.
Mubi is the main local government area in Adamawa state hosting the internally displaced persons following the military operations around the fringes of Sambisa. It is also the major town with a military brigade which seems to be the safest place for the people to seek protection.
The UNHCR Project which started in January 2021 seeks to restore human dignity and promote avenues for an end to the plight of forcibly uprooted people through improved access to means of livelihoods. A total of 267 males and 143 females have been reached from the project which is expected to run throughout the year.{modal url=”https://paystack.com/pay/n534p7ehak”}Donate to Support Us{/modal}
