Sunday 11th September 2022 was another outing for the Caritas Nigeria team under the GRAIL (Galvanizing Religious Leaders for Accelerated Identification and Linkage to Pediatric  ART) Project as they carried out a massive medical outreach specifically for children under fourteen years of age to St Anthony Catholic Church, Kabusa, Abuja.

The church was populated with over 1500 children; including children from other religious faiths.  About 1150 of these children were attended to, and over 150 were given anti-malaria drugs, worm expellant, blood tonic and multivitamins as well as soya plus for malnourished children.  One child tested positive for HIV/AIDS.

In addition, a total of fifty-six (56) parents had their sugar levels and blood pressure (BP) checked  with appropriate medications prescribed for those that had slight abnormalities.

Kabusa is a district/area under Abuja Municipal Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) located near Lokogoma to the north, Apo to the east, and Galadimawa to the west.
