The staff of Caritas Nigeria and Field Monitors working on the UNHCR-funded Protection project on Thursday, October 29th 2020 distributed Mobility Aids to refugees in Ogoja, Cross River State.
The UNHCR Protection project which started in 2018 is targeted towards ameliorating the plight of People with Special needs (PWSN) in selected settlements.
The mobility aids were distributed to 3 prioritised localities in Adagom 1, Adagom 2 and Okede communities of Ogoja, all in Cross River State. The beneficiaries who were mostly elderly refugees could not hide their joy and appreciated Caritas Nigeria for the Humanitarian gesture to them.
