The Director of the Church and Society department of the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria and Executive Secretary/CEO of Caritas Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Dr. Uchechukwu Obodoechina delivered a press briefing, on 25th January 2023, at the Catholic Secretariat Abuja, on the State of Security of the Nation and the murder of Rev. Fr. Isaac Achi by Bandits at Kafin-koro Minna, Niger State.
In his keynote address, he indicated that “Governments are established to serve and preserve the lives of their citizens from harm and all avoidable pains” and so it is expected that government at the Federal and State levels should prioritize the security of the lives and property of all Christians in Nigeria.
