On 15 July 2023, the Caritas Nigeria Imo state team, through the support of UNAIDS and carried out a sensitization awareness campaign for pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers of the Faith-based Approach to Increase Identification and Treatment of HIV+ children. (F.A.I.T.H) Project at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in the Nazi community of Imo state.
As a result of this campaign, 125 pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers voluntarily underwent HIV testing, taking a significant step towards ensuring the health and well-being of their children and the community as a whole.
