Caritas Nigeria team working with the Justice Development and Peace Commission (JDPC) coordinated Election Observation in the North Central geopolitical zones of the country and gave a press conference on the 21st March 2023, in Gboko as part of the outputs from the Situation Room for the March 18 gubernatorial election and State House of Assembly elections.
The event took place at the Gboko Diocesan Chancery, Gboko, and was delivered by Rev. Fr. Isaiah Ter – the Executive Director of Caritas Gboko flanked by members of the situation room. Media houses that covered the event included the Channels TV, Ashiwaves FM Katsina-Ala, Sun Rays FM Korinya, and Catholic Stars both of Benue State.
