Caritas Nigeria Protection team was in Adagom, Ogoja, on October 2, 2020 to assist refugee children in the camp learn how to wash their hands.
The children also received a health talk with tips on hand-washing at the Child Friendly Space (CFS) in the camp.
Adagom is one of the Settlement camps under the UNHCR-funded Protection project. The CSF in the camp was established in 2019 (with approval from the donor) as part of efforts help the traumatized Camerounian children heal and social again. Here, toddlers (2-4 years) learn to develop their cognitive abilities in the mornings while the children (5-14 years) play in the evenings all in a bid to foster communality again.
The Caritas Nigeria Protection Projected is funded by UNHCR and is implemented in Cross River State
