To enhance high-data quality for improved HIV service delivery under the Accelerated Control of HIV Epidemic and Sustainability Solutions (ACCESS) project, the Caritas Nigeria team from our country office and regional office in Enugu state facilitated a 7-day Community ART (Antiretroviral Therapy) training for 63 Mobile Clinical Team and Case Management teams working across the three senatorial districts of the state.
The training aimed to ensure that the participants have the requisite capacity to deliver optimum care and treatment services to people living with HIV (PLHIV) under the guidance of Caritas Nigeria.

With their capacity strengthened it is believed that the participants, who were mentored in two categories, understand the historical overview and importance of the Patient Biometric System (PBS), disseminate the patient allocation matrix to the Case Management team at the service delivery-supported facilities, use the basic clinical tools to improve the PBS and offer the basic client services at the facility and community levels.
