Submission of the Simplified Electoral Act 2022

 

Tuesday, April 12, 2022, marked a historic day for Caritas Nigeria/JDPC and the Church in Nigeria when a team of six led by Caritas Nigeria Good Governance Focal Person, Sir Mark Asu-Obi, submitted to the Executive Secretary Rev Fr Uchechukwu Obodoechina a simplified version of the Nigerian Electoral Act 2022 recently signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Women in Agencies of CBCN (WiAC) Empowered Young Girls on Mother’s Day

As part of the 2022 Mothers’ Day celebration, female staff working in all agencies of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) under the aegis of Women in Agencies of CBCN (WiAC) organized an empowerment programme for young girls between the ages of 12 – 25 years at the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria.
