1. Please, I write to thank all of you who, despite the fuel situation in Abuja and other constraints, found it expedient to attend the 2022 Cathedraticum in solidarity with our Bishops of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja.

2. For those of you, who did not attend but wrote to be excused, I thank you for that part of honour. I hope you were able to meet up with all the challenges that prevented you from attending. Gratitude!
3. But for you, who did not attend, and could not write to be excused, despite the request to do so, have made a decision to insult, and insult gravely. Please, you have one more last chance, namely to write in this same mail trail, reasons why
you did not attend. Kindly find time to do this before 12.00noon on Monday, the 21st March 2022.
4. Friends and Colleagues, I know that attending the Cathedraticum was not a part of anybody’ s job description. Neither was it a conditionality for anybody’ s engagement with Caritas Nigeria. Neither was it also a purely Caritas Nigeria deliverables on any of her programs areas. Yet it is at the heart of our being and identity as a faith- based and non- for- profit Organisation. That much deserves our support.
