- Today is Palm Sunday, the beginning of the Holy Week. Today at the Catholic Secretariat, a new bishop was born in our midst.
Msgr. Isaac Dugu, of the Catholic Secretariat Abuja was appointed the Bishop-Elect of Katsina Alla in Benue State. Msgr Dugu has been a wonderful friend of Caritas Nigeria, known for his erudite lectures on Catholic Social Teaching. We congratulate him and ask you to pray for his successful episcopal ordination and ministry.
- As a result of that and other favours from God we are being enjoined to continue to thank God for all his blessings in our lives and in the lives of people around us. In the same way, we thank the women members of our Organization for the successful celebration of the Women’s Day. That Day has come to be institutionalized as one of our annual events. The organizers are asked to keep the dates in mind.
- The Easter Break begins on Wednesday the 13th of April 2022. You are expected to get clearance from your state leadership before you embark on any Easter trip.
- Your Easter gifts of bags are on the way. Incase we are not able to deliver before you leave, kindly be assured that they would be kept safe for you, till after Easter, as work resumes on the 25th of April 2022.
- Finally, if you would not thank God for all your blessings, because of one little problem in your life, or the other, know it that the stones around your would praise God!
