Supporting Community Health: The Role of the “No Means No Boys” Intervention

The “No Means No Boys SGBV Prevention” intervention, carried out by the Caritas Nigeria OVC Team in Abia State, was executed at Ogbor Community Primary School 1, Aba North Local Government Area, under the supervision of the Presbyterian Church and Service Development OVC CBO. The intervention aimed to create awareness, distribute nutrition commodities, and provide supportive supervision, focusing on the following key activities:

Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Abia State get School Block Grant

Recently, 5 government Community Primary Schools across Aba South, Ohafia, Osisioma, Umuahia South, and Ugwunabo local government areas (LGA) of Abia State were profiled for the educational grant, during which 155 out-of-school children, who were made vulnerable by HIV, as well as others from indigent households, were identified for re-enrollment in school.
