Mortality Surveillance Workshop
Despite the decline in HIV-related deaths around the globe, statistics show that almost 1 million people die from HIV/AIDS each year. To mitigate the HIV mortality rate in Nigeria, Caritas Nigeria, through a Mortality Surveillance and Verbal Autopsy workshop in Enugu State, strengthened the capacity of frontline workers in 10 HIV treatment service delivery facilities (SDF) in the state.

Promoting Inclusivity for Displaced Migrants

Joint Meeting with Stakeholders in Abia State

Supervisory visit by the US delegation
In line with the efforts to ramp up COVID-19 vaccination in Nigeria, the Caritas Nigeria delegation, led by our Executive Secretary/CEO, Revd. Fr. Uchechukwu Obodoechina, and the U.S. Mission Nigeria delegation, led by the Deputy Chief of Mission, Kathleen FitzGibbon, went on a joint supervisory visit to Imo State earlier in April 2022 to assess the COVID-19 vaccination outreach in the region.
