Share:

The Executive Secretary and CEO of Caritas Nigeria paid a courtesy visit to the National TB and Leprosy Control Programme (NTBLCP) to solidify and show commitment to ensuring that TB was eradicated out of Nigeria.

Caritas Nigeria under the Public-Private Mix Tb project has been able to push for a space in the TB program implementation across the 20 Implementing states, building a close working relationship with other TB implementing partners and the NTBLCP.

The organization has also been able to engage 156 Linkage coordinators across LGAs and 102 screening officers in some selected faith-based facilities to support case finding and treatment to solidify her presence at the community level.

The PPM TB project is a two year Global Fund Grant involving a consortium of Implementing partners led by the Institute of Human Virology in Nigeria as the Primary recipient.
