Food Security Interventions in Borno State

Share:

To help vulnerable populations in Northeast Nigeria overcome the food crisis arising from conflicts and consequent displacements, Caritas Nigeria, working in partnership with Caritas Deutschland, is delivering timely food security interventions funded by Auswärtiges Amt.
On the partner-funded “Food security and Humanitarian Protection for Victims of the Lake Chad crisis in Northeast Nigeria, Northern Cameroon, and Chad” project implemented by Caritas Nigeria, our team recently distributed seedlings, fertilisers, and insecticides to 275 farming households in 6 targeted communities in Gwoza local government area of Borno State, including Gwoza Wakane and Camp D, to improve agricultural productivity and household food access.
