In a bid to combat tuberculosis among adults and children, Caritas Nigeria, in collaboration with the Abia State Ministry of Health through the support of Ihv Nigeria, has initiated a life-saving program called the “Tuberculosis Testing Week”. The event occurred at the Lokpa Cattle Market in Lukwesi, within the Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State.

Tackling Gender-Based Violence at the Grassroots

Considering the need to take more action at the grassroots to eliminate violence against women and girls, Caritas Nigeria Orphans and Vulnerable Children's (OVC) program team in Imo state took the 16 Days of Activism sensitization to Holy Trinity Catholic Cathedral in Orlu local government area, where their target audience - Mary League Girls - held their annual thanksgiving mass.
