Share:

As part of the ongoing activities for the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence (GBV), our staff working on the Child Protection (Refugee Response) Project funded by UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, in partnership with the Borno Women Development Initiative Maiduguri and IOM Nigeria held a public awareness and sensitization rally against all forms of Gender Based Violence in Mubi and Michika local government areas of Adamawa State.
Focusing on the theme for this year’s campaign, the team engaged teenage boys and girls in a writing competition on the consequences of abuse and other kinds of violence on both the perpetrators and survivors.
