In line with the efforts to ramp up COVID-19 vaccination in Nigeria, the Caritas Nigeria delegation, led by our Executive Secretary/CEO, Revd. Fr. Uchechukwu Obodoechina, and the U.S. Mission Nigeria delegation, led by the Deputy Chief of Mission, Kathleen FitzGibbon, went on a joint supervisory visit to Imo State earlier in April 2022 to assess the COVID-19 vaccination outreach in the region.
Caritas Nigeria also leveraged its effective Integrated Health Approach which promotes free health checks, including sugar level, blood pressure and HIV screening, to administer essential medical services to the populace.
