From 22 to 24 November 2025, our organisation conducted a three-day capacity-building training for the staff of JDPC Pankshin Diocese under the CAFOD-funded Freedom Project. The Business Development and Institutional Capacity Strengthening Teams facilitated the training. The training aimed to equip participants with the practical skills needed to secure funding for community-focused projects.
The sessions introduced modern fundraising methods, including understanding donor interests, developing funding maps, creating sustainable strategies, and building functional donor databases. Key topics also included Project Co-Creation, Local Resource Mobilization, Advanced Fundraising Techniques, and Proposal Writing. The training concluded with a hands-on group exercise, allowing participants to apply the concepts learned and enhancing their confidence and competence in fundraising and proposal development.
