Caritas Nigeria Benefits from UNHCR’s Mobility Aid

On August 26, 2022, Caritas Nigeria took delivery of 1 project vehicle and 4 motorcycles from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Presented by Mr. Tesfaye Bekele, Head of UNHCR Nigeria sub-office in Ogoja, Cross River State, the mobility support was aimed at facilitating project implementation in the state.

With the support of the UNHCR, Caritas Nigeria provides protection services to Cameroonian refugees in Cross River state and internally displaced persons & returnees in Adamawa state. These services include Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) response, child protection, quality education, legal aid, and community system strengthening.
