On 25th November 2025, the world marked the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, a reminder that every woman and girl deserves a life free from fear, harm, and discrimination. As digital spaces become an integral part of daily life, women and girls continue to face online harassment and various forms of digital abuse that threaten their mental health, personal safety, and livelihoods.
Joining the global community to commemorate this year’s theme, “Unite to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls,” Caritas Nigeria reaffirms its commitment to creating safer digital environments. The organisation remains dedicated to building a society where technology empowers rather than endangers women and girls.
