an overview of the mortality surveilance for People Living with HIV (PLHIV), the role and responsibility of the Verbal Autopsy (VA) interviewer, ethical training, confidentiality, data security, and other high priority areas on the Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
At the end of the training, there was an after test administered to the ten health facilities participants in form of field work to meet with relatives of the deceased of people living with HIV (PLHIV) with the aim of conducting interviews and get feed back to help understand the challenges and shortcomings, the health personel encounter while working in the field.
Mr. Chinedum-Ezor Chinedum, a Retention Assistant (RA) with Annunciation Specialist Hospital Emene, Enugu, appreciated the facilitators for the training which has equiped him and his colleagues with the knowledge of Verbal Autopsy (VA)
