The Caritas Nigeria team in Taraba State marked the International Day of Education at Rogo Primary School, Takum, in recognition of the vital role education plays in promoting global peace and sustainable development. Celebrated under the theme “The Role of Youth in Co-creating Education,” the event brought together staff and pupils for an interactive session during which the team delivered a talk that encouraged learners to see themselves as peer educators and active contributors to learning, while also emphasizing the importance of strengthening understanding and embracing digital education. The celebration concluded with a mini spelling bee featuring selected pupils from different classes, after which prizes were awarded, leaving both staff and learners appreciative of the initiative and reaffirming their commitment to continue giving their best.
