
Dr. Jude Ilozumba- Lead, Global Fund TB project in Nigeria
Dr. Jude Ilozumba has over two decades of extensive experience in public health, particularly in the implementation of TB and HIV programs. He currently leads the Global Fund TB project at Caritas Nigeria, where he has been instrumental in introducing cutting-edge technologies, such as AI-enabled portable X-ray machines, to enhance integrated screening efforts. His work has significantly improved case detection and care outcomes in underserved communities.
Dr. Ilozumba’s expertise spans program planning, health systems strengthening, and innovative interventions targeting maternal and child health, with a specific focus on PMTCT. He is a member of several professional organizations and holds specialized certifications that align with his role in driving evidence-based health initiatives. His leadership has not only advanced health equity but also ensured the alignment of national goals with global health priorities.
Dr. Jude Ilozumba has a Master of Public Health, with expertise in driving key interventions in community testing of Pregnant women for HIV and promoting integration with TB and HIV services. He is also vast in coordinating multidisciplinary teams to enhance health system performance and meet donor expectations.
