Cecilia Agrinya-Owan is a versatile and dynamic communications professional with over 15 years of experience in the humanitarian and development sectors. She is proficient in crafting effective communications strategies that drive advocacy, engaging with diverse stakeholders to enhance service delivery. Cecilia is experienced in risk communication & mitigation, cross-discipline communication, and public relations. She is known for innovation and producing dynamic results and has been successful at working in different areas of communications, including executive support for strategic planning and corporate guidance. She is highly adept in authoring speeches, press releases, campaigns, advocacy, marketing materials and report writing. She is also a skilled business development expert with years of experience in enhancing organizational revenue bringing expertise in donor search and positioning, grant writing, and partnership building. 

Cecilia holds a Master degree in Communication for Innovation & Development, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication. She is enthusiastic about utilizing her communications expertise to enhance policy influencing to improve the wellbeing of underserved communities. 

Cecilia heads the Communications Unit of Caritas Nigeria.
