On November 10, 2025, the Executive Secretary/CEO of Caritas Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Peter Audu, participated in the Youth Digital Power Boot Camp held in Abuja. The event was organized by the Youth Animation Unit of the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria (CSN) under the leadership of the National Youth Animator, Very Rev. Fr. Boniface Idoko, to empower young Catholics with digital innovation skills.
During his welcome remarks, Fr. Audu urged the participants to learn, collaborate, and experiment, emphasizing that real influence is not about popularity but purpose. He reminded them that true innovation serves humanity, and lasting impact begins when one’s skills align with their values.
As part of the program, participants paid a courtesy visit to Caritas Nigeria, where they received insightful presentations from Ekoh Oghenetega, Technical Advisor on Health Informatics, and Cecilia Fehintola, Senior Associate, Information and Communication Technology, on leveraging digital tools for social good.
In his vote of thanks, Mr. Peter Adubi, representing the Catholic Youths in Nigeria, expressed deep appreciation to Caritas Nigeria for its hospitality and continued commitment to youth empowerment initiatives within the Church.
