On November 16, 2024, Caritas Nigeria’s Imo State team donated 30 classroom desks to Owerri City Secondary School as part of this year’s Caritas Day commemorative activities.
The donation, made yesterday, was aimed at giving back to the community and improving the learning environment for students who have been affected by inadequate classroom furniture.
The initiative formed part of Caritas Day celebrations, which bring together staff, partners, and community members to demonstrate solidarity and promote acts of compassion across Nigeria.
By providing these desks, Caritas Nigeria sought to enhance students’ comfort, support quality learning, and strengthen community engagement in Owerri and beyond.
