Caritas Nigeria Certifies First Cohort of Digital Kids Club Learners in Cross River State

Recently, Caritas Nigeria, with funding from UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, successfully conducted a Digital Kids Club Certification Ceremony for learners from St. Peter’s Primary School I Adagom, St. Peter’s Primary School II Adagom, and St. Eugene Primary School Ukende all in Cross River State. The ceremony marked the successful completion of the first cohort of the Digital Kids Club sessions.
The cohort targeted pupils from Primary 2 to Primary 6, with 40 learners randomly selected for each session.
Participants were introduced to foundational ICT skills, including computer appreciation, basic digital literacy, interactive learning, and hands-on practical exercises.
Learners and school authorities expressed appreciation for the continued support of Caritas Nigeria, UNHCR and Profuturo. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates to the participating learners, encouraging them to apply and further develop the digital knowledge and skills acquired.
