The Executive Secretary/CEO, Fr. Peter Audu, led the delegation during a recent official visit to Hungary aimed at deepening international cooperation. During the high-level engagements, he met with Rev. Dr. Németh Gábor, Secretary of the Hungarian Catholic Bishops’ Conference, Mr. Richárd Zagyva, National Director of Caritas Hungary, and Dr. Norbert Vajda, Director of Catholic Social Services.
These discussions, held with key leaders of Catholic and humanitarian institutions in Hungary, focused on strengthening institutional partnerships, aligning shared values, and exploring collaborative strategies to enhance humanitarian outreach and social service delivery. The visit was specifically designed to reinforce faith-based frameworks that promote humanitarian resilience, improve aid delivery to vulnerable populations, and expand global networks of solidarity.
Through strategic dialogue, mutual exchange of ideas, and a shared commitment to collaboration, the meetings established clear pathways for coordinated action and deeper integration with established social service infrastructures in Hungary and beyond.
