Caritas Nigeria Delivers Free Healthcare Services in Abuja

As part of her 15th Anniversary celebrations, Caritas Nigeria held a free medical outreach on September 29 at the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria in Abuja. The initiative was aimed at delivering essential health services to vulnerable individuals, reinforcing the organization’s mission to expand access to quality healthcare.

The outreach offered a wide range of medical services through various units, including triage, counselling, optometry, dental care, presumptive diagnosis (PDX), laboratory testing, and drug dispensing. Trained healthcare professionals were on-site to ensure comprehensive and efficient care for all participants.

A total of 443 beneficiaries received medical attention during the event, underscoring Caritas Nigeria’s continued commitment to supporting underserved communities and addressing critical health challenges across the country.

The initiative further demonstrated the organization’s resolve to strengthen health systems and protect the well-being of Nigerians in need. By providing free, accessible healthcare, Caritas Nigeria reaffirmed its dedication to compassionate service and its vision of a just and healthy society for all.
