Nkese Maria Udongwo is a highly experienced humanitarian and development professional with extensive expertise in coordinating and managing humanitarian aid, peacebuilding, and anti-human trafficking programs. She excels in leading multi-thematic initiatives and strengthening institutional capacities.

Nkese holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Master of Science (MSc) in Global Development and International Law, and a Bachelor of Agriculture (B. Ag) in Agricultural Economics and Extension.

Throughout her career, Nkese has held significant roles, including a long-term member of the COATNET Steering Committee, a member of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) on Localization, and a Trustee of the Women in Humanitarian Response in Nigeria Initiative.
