The Deputy Executive Secretary (DES) of Caritas Nigeria, Fr Peter Audu recently went on a working visit to Northeast Nigeria, where Caritas Nigeria is implementing diverse humanitarian interventions.
On July 4, Fr. Audu was at our Mubi office in Adamawa State to interact with the Caritas Nigeria team working there. Afterward, he proceeded to our Yola office, where he equally engaged with staff and addressed some operational challenges.
Similarly, the DES made a brief stop at the Caritas Nigeria office in Maiduguri on July 10, where he celebrated the Holy Mass for staff. He, thereafter, paid a courtesy call to the Borno State Ministry For Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, and Resettlement.
He also shared a moment with the children currently enrolled in the UNHCR Nigeria-funded Child Protection project, which is implemented by Caritas Nigeria in the Bama local government area of Borno State.
