Caritas Nigeria envisions a society where every member has equitable access to quality healthcare services and enjoys good health and well-being.
Our key strategies include:
- Comprehensive Health Programs: on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of communicable and non-communicable diseases, and promoting overall well-being, including maternal, neonatal, and child health.
- HIV/AIDS Interventions: Providing comprehensive HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, care, and support services in Abia, Enugu, and Imo states. This includes HIV testing, lifesaving treatment, and psychosocial support for people living with HIV (PLHIV).
- Tuberculosis Services: Offering adequate TB prevention and treatment services in Abia, Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo states, including the use of AI-enabled X-ray devices for screening.
- Sustainable Healthcare Models: Simplifying service delivery models, integrating HIV services into the broader healthcare system, and strengthening Human Resources for Health to ensure community and state-led interventions.
- Collaborative Approach: Engaging key stakeholders, including government agencies, civil society, faith-based organizations, and the private sector, in a coordinated effort to enhance the sustainability of health programs.
Caritas Nigeria aims to provide equitable access to quality healthcare and improve health outcomes through these strategic initiatives.
