Caritas Nigeria Board of Directors (BoD) held its last meeting for the year, which was chaired by the Board Episcopal Chair and Archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos, Most Rev. Alfred Adewale Martins.
At the meeting, our Executive Secretary/CEO, Rev. Fr. Uchechukwu Obodoechina, Ph.D., shared the organization’s achievements and challenges with members while also acknowledging the immense mercies and benevolence of God Almighty to the Caritas Nigeria family.
For elaborate updates on the 6 thematic areas of Caritas Nigeria, our Senior Management Team (SMT) was invited to brief the organisation’s leadership on the activities and achievements of several interventions across the country over the previous quarter. In response, the BoD provided enriching insights and recommendations that would further strengthen our systems and processes.
In the spirit of the anticipated commemoration of the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the meeting ended with the BoD cutting a Christmas cake and receiving symbolic gift items.
