Udi district hospital, Mother of Christ Specialist Hospital, Enugu-Ezike,Enugu State from 6th – 10th of June, 2022 towards breaking the chain of new HIV infection and transmission.Caritas Nigeria Enugu Surveillance Team comprising of Dr Debra Okeh, Enugu State Surveillance Lead; Dr Chigozie Opara, Senior Specialist, Care & Treatment; Madu Edward Ikechukwu, Senior Specialist, Prevention Care & Support; along side Charles Inegbeniki, Enugu State M&E Lead; Ojiogu Sylvester, Technical Specialist, Laboratory Services; Oluwaseun Garuba, Senior Specialist Quality Improvement and other Caritas Nigeria staff monitored and assessed the level of implementation of the Recency Surveillance program in four health facilities in the state. 

The visit aims at ensuring that the national goal for HIV testing is followed strictly and regularly.
