To equip staff of the organization with the fundamentals of project management, Caritas Nigeria Enugu team organized an intensive training which lasted from Tuesday, 26th to 26th Saturday, July 30th, 2022.
Mr. Vincent Egoro, Program Manager, Institutional and Capacity Strengthening, Caritas Nigeria took the participants through the modules of the professional certificate course and reiterated that the project manager is responsible for ensuring that deliverables of a project arrive on time, in scope, which provides the objectives, schedules, and tasks inline with the approved budget for a project. He further added that Scope statements align stakeholders’ expectations and give projects a framework for success. Once a project is underway, it is important to keep it on track and within scope.
The particiapnts lauded the valuable training. They also appreciated the fact that uncomfortable issues about project management is put to rest.
At the end of the training, participants were divided into groups to share their experience; assignments were given after each module, and finally, the Project DPro Certification Exam administered.
