presentation of the solution was carried out on the 5th of July 2022 at the Caritas Nigeria Head Office, Abuja by the developer to test its efficacy with all stakeholders drawn from the different departments of the organisation in attendance. The App which comes in three components includes a web-based platform, a backend for setting up elections and a mobile part for capturing and uploading data from the field. To address the problem of connectivity and coverage of all polling units across the federation, the mobile  component can operate in offline mode and , sync data to the server whenever the observer gets to where there is mobile network.

The election observation app has the capacity to collect and analyze checklists from around the country after the polls close in order to reach meaningful and statistically significant conclusions, all in time to release a preliminary assessment.

With this initiative, Caritas Nigeria, is making history by being at the forefront of improving the quality of election processes and building the confidence of the Nigerian voter.
