The Caritas Nigeria team was in the diocese of Katsina-Ala at the invitation of the newly-installed bishop for its first-ever General Assembly since its erection ten years ago.
Caritas Nigeria resource persons presented the outcome of an advance needs assessment/community diagnosis of the institutional, managerial, and programmatic capacities of the diocese for the new bishop as well as sectoral domains: health, justice and peace development, good governance, finance, etc.
Participants at the Assembly including the convener and chief host, Most Rev Isaac Dugu were visibly grateful for the solidarity and facilitation provided by Caritas Nigeria led by its DES, Rev Fr Peter Babangida
