B-SLiC Project

Share:

The Building Sustainable Livelihoods for Vibrant Communities (B-SLiC) Project is aimed at empowering rural farmers to adopt climate SMART agriculture and improve their means of livelihood.

This is achieved by building the capacity of women, men, and youths, to equip them with vocational skills acquisition, and facilitating their access to markets so as to gain financial inclusion. In addition, their farm productivity is diversified through sound land and water management practices and adapting to the local agroecology to reduce risk and vulnerability to climate change and creating opportunities for them for the choice to start up their own businesses, create jobs, and increase household incomes.

The project targets 4,000 households in selected communities in Lagos (Ikorodu, Epe LGAs) and Ekiti (Ado-Ekiti, Ikere LGAs) States.
