The Deputy Executive Secretary of Caritas Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Peter Babangida Audu was recently at the Caritas Nigeria Enugu State office on a working visit during which he interacted with our team in the state.
During the official engagement, which took place from May 31 – June 2, 2023, Rev. Fr. Audu held a productive roundtable meeting with the State Team Lead (STL), Fabian Bassey, and all the Leads of the ACCESS project thematic areas. The meeting provided a platform to address the challenges faced by each unit with a view to identifying effective solutions.
He equally had a one-on-one interaction with each staff, an opportunity which he leveraged to commend them for their commitment to serving humanity and extending essential services to Enugu State communities, including hard-to-reach areas. He further encouraged them to deepen their understanding of Catholic Social Teaching, which forms the bedrock of Caritas Nigeria’s core values.
