Women Affairs and Social Development, Very Rev. Jane Omeronye, expressed gratitude to Caritas Nigeria for the good work done so far in the state. she promised to assist in any way to foster the growth and achievements of the organization. On her part, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social development, Deaconess Nna Rose Urenta appreciated the humanaterian services rendered to her state by Caritas Nigeria.
There were representatives from the 17 local government areas (LGAs); all CBOS, Legal Practitioners, Kings, and all the Chiefs in attendance. The Community Chief expressed his gratitude to Caritas Nigeria for remembering his Community. He affirmed that ever since the coming on board of the organization in his community, cases of Gender Molestation and Violence have reduced, and a good number of Orphan and vulnerable Children taken care of, and the less privileged admitted into schools. This is one of the very many sucesses that currently the Catholic Caritas Foundation Of Nigeria has recorded in Abia State and hope to do more.
