To enhance efficiency and strengthen collaboration across all departments, Caritas Nigeria convened its Programs Coordination and Central Operations Team Meeting today, May 29, at the headquarters. The meeting provided a platform for a comprehensive review of ongoing projects and key initiatives. In his opening remarks, our Executive Secretary/CEO, Fr Peter Audu, emphasized the importance of teamwork, transparency, and a commitment to the mission and values of Caritas Nigeria.
Subsequently, various units and departments presented detailed updates on operations and program implementation, highlighting key achievements, existing challenges, and projected targets, alongside practical strategies for improved performance. The Chief of Party, Dr. John Okoh, drew attention to the organization’s recent external assessment outcomes, noting the overall performance scores while thoughtfully identifying critical gaps that require strengthening and continuous improvement.
Before the meeting concluded, the Executive Secretary commended all participants for their active engagement, professionalism, and dedication to advancing sustainable development across the country.
