11 Returned Migrants Empowered with CCTV/Solar Installation Devices in Abuja Office

In keeping with its bold commitment to firmly address the root causes of irregular migration and human trafficking, Caritas Nigeria, through the support of Deutsche Gesellschaft fur International Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH at her HQ office Abuja, 19th April 2023 empowered 11 returned immigrants with CCTV/Solar installation devices under the GIZ-funded Stable, Trained & Empowered Migrant (STEM) project.
Prior to the distribution activity which was anchored by the Deputy Executive Secretary of Caritas Nigeria, Revd Fr. Peter Babangida Audu, the project participants, who were referred to us by the Nigerian-German Centre for Jobs, Migration and Reintegration, had been trained on CCTV/Solar installation.
 
Each participant, including two phenomenal females, received an electrical toolbox, a clamp multimeter, a digital multimeter, a drilling machine, a voltmeter, a connector crimping tool, an automatic wire stripper, a hammer, a set of spanners, and a pair of safety gloves.
