Job Purpose:

To support the implementation of child protection interventions through case management and psychosocial support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for children and caregivers.
• Assist in identifying and managing cases of children at risk.
• Facilitate referrals to specialized services for vulnerable children.
• Liaise with community stakeholders and government agencies to strengthen child protection mechanisms.
• Support the Child Protection Officer in reporting and monitoring child protection activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related field.
• At least 2 years’ experience in child protection.
• Strong communication and counseling skills.
• Fluency in Hausa Language

Physical Demands:

• Ability to spend long hours looking at computer screen and doing repetitive work on a keyboard.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift 5-50 lbs.
