Project Management for Development Professionals (Project Dpro), formerly referred to as PMD Pro, is a globally recognized project management certification for development and humanitarian professionals.

Project DPro is aligned with existing internationally recognized project management standards like PRINCE2 and PMP.

The training is specifically tailored to meet the needs and realities of the development and humanitarian sector projects. It covers basic project management concepts, techniques, tools, and terms specific to NGOs and the development sector.

Project Dpro is well suited for project teams and development workers who intend to pursue professional certification in the field of project management specific to the development/humanitarian sector; Project support staff in NGOs and humanitarian organizations (Logistics, Admin, Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, etc.), experienced program managers who wish to refresh, update and enhance their skills, consultants in the development sector and development stakeholders or anyone involved in changing the world through projects.

The certification was developed by APMG-international a UK-based global professional examination and accreditation body, in partnership with Project Management for NGOs (PM4NGOs), an organization dedicated to optimizing international project investments and improving project management skills in the development and humanitarian sectors.
