Caritas Nigeria B-SLiC project team and partners recently engaged with key traditional rulers in the Badagry region, including His Royal Majesty Oba Saheed Adamson of Ajido Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Oba Nunayon Awogbemi of Akarakumo Kingdom and the Baale of Topo community, Chief Michael Olorundami Avoseh.
Through gainful interactions with the local authorities, who pledged their unalloyed cooperation for the B-SLiC project implementation, our team identified and documented the needs of the target project communities for onward climate-smart agricultural support made possible by the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation.
By securing the support of community stakeholders, the Building Sustainable Livelihoods for Vibrant Communities (BSLIC) project identifies the specific needs of communities and creates a positive impact using a collaborative and culturally sensitive approach.
