A total of 22 beneficiaries comprising 18 returned migrants, 2 victims of trafficking, and 2 at-risk populations, were provided with startup kits on May 13, 2022, by Caritas Nigeria in Benin, Edo State after completing three months of training in fashion design under the ongoing GIZ-funded Stable Trained and Empowered Me (STEM) Project.
The Caritas Nigeria 4GATES programme has maintained its support to vulnerable households enrolled in the Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) project in Ngor Okpala local government of Imo state.
While the COVID-19 pandemic continues to threaten more Nigerian communities amidst increasing awareness and willingness by people to participate in the vaccination exercise, the Caritas Nigeria 4GATES program in partnership with Imo State Primary Health Care Development Agency (IMSPHCDA), is working assiduously to contain it by devising new strategies.
