Caritas Nigeria @ 5

In barely three months time (September 22, 2015), Caritas Nigeria will be five years old. Really amazing just how quickly time flies!

But to the community of  people in the development sector, the question that will follow will be "Five years of what?" So what can we say we have achieved as an organization during these five years?. This is the question for all those who were right there with the organization when the journey began.

In a statement recently released by the Communications Specialist for Caritas Nigeria, Cecilia, the date will mark 5 years of reaching out to the poor, the vulnerable and the needy; 5 years of putting smiles on faces, of caring for our environment and of changing worse situations to better ones. Most importantly, it will also mark 5 years of building a community of love.

Now bearing in mind the overall goal of Caritas Nigeria which is"advancing the wellbeing of all...", will it be true for one to say that Caritas has justified this mission?  If Yes, to what extent and what further needs to be done?
