In a bid to combat tuberculosis among adults and children, Caritas Nigeria, in collaboration with the Abia State Ministry of Health through the support of Ihv Nigeria, has initiated a life-saving program called the “Tuberculosis Testing Week”. Nurturing Mental Wellness in the Workplace

A one-day session on "Mind Matters: Nurturing Mental Wellness in the Workplace" was held recently to improve the productivity of the Caritas Nigeria staff working on the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and CDC-funded Accelerated Control of HIV Epidemic and Sustainability Solutions (ACCESS) project in Enugu State.

In line with the efforts to ramp up COVID-19 vaccination in Nigeria, the Caritas Nigeria delegation, led by our Executive Secretary/CEO, Revd. Fr. Uchechukwu Obodoechina, and the U.S. Mission Nigeria delegation, led by the Deputy Chief of Mission, Kathleen FitzGibbon, went on a joint supervisory visit to Imo State earlier in April 2022 to assess the COVID-19 vaccination outreach in the region.
